How to Get to Hakka Tulou in Nanjing from Xiamen

Nanjing Hakka Tulou is located in Shuyang Township, Nanjing County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, China. By Bus

►Option 1 Xiamen→Shuyang →Township
There are busses departing from Xiamen Hubin Long Distance Bus Station to Shuyang Township at 8:30 am and 12:10 pm daily. For the return trip, they depart from Shuyang Bus Station at 7:30 am and 2:25 pm daily. Shuyang Township is where the Tulou Building located. The journey takes about 4 hours.

►Option 2 Xiamen→Nanjing County→Tulou
There are more than ten buses leaving for Nanjing County from Xiamen Hubin Long Distance Bus Station. Upon your arrival in Nanjing, you should change to a Tulou Express Bus to reach the scenic area. But before you get on the bus, you should make sure which Tulou you want to explore, because there are some many main clusters of Tulous with many others scattered in between and around the main attractions. Again, if any bus is going to Shuyang, ask them to stop at Tianzhong Village on the way. The journey takes about 4 hours.
 

►Option 3 Private car/van/bus

By Bullet Train

There are nine bullet trains running from Xiamen North Train Station to Nanjing County every day. The earliest one departs at 09:19 and the latest one departs at 20:26. The bullet train journey takes about 40 minutes and will arrive at Nanjing Train Station. After you get out of Nanjing Train Station, there are many express buses leaving for Tulou. You can just hip on one of them and the express bus will take you to the place where you can see Tulou. It takes about 1 hour from Nanjing Train Station to Tulou Cluster.
