There is a saying goes "If you do not come to Dongmen Old Street, you haven't been to Shenzhen". Dongmen Old Pedestrian Street is the most traditional and popular commercial street in the city. Dongmen Pedestrian Street is regarded as Wanfujiang in Beijing and Nanjing Road in Shanghai.
Metro Line 1 and 3 connect Dongmen to other places in Shenzhen, which make it easily to get the places wherever you want. You can take either line 1 or 3 and get off at Laojie Station.
Luohu Port is one of main entry/exit ports for tourists to traveling between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It is the busiest port in China currently. Once you pass Luohu Port, you will see the HK MTR. And Shenzhen Railway Station is just near to the port, which make it a perfect location for transit. Luohu Port is located in the Luohu commercial area. Tourists can get to Splendid China and Cultural Folk Villages, Window of the World, Minsk World, Dafen Oil Painting Village, OCT East Shenzhen by subway. It takes about 30 minutes. You can take metro line 1 and get off at Luohu Station to reach Luohu Port.
Most of the famous attractions are located around Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) in Nanshan District, like Splendid China and Cultural Folk Villages, Window of the World, Minsk World, Dafen Oil Painting Village, OCT East Shenzhen themed parks. This area is a tourist holiday resort combining catering, shopping and amusement. Overseas Chinese Town is just located in the west side of CBD of Shenzhen. Metro Line 1 and 2 go through this place.
