Ask a QuestionThe best time to travel in Qinhuangdao is in spring and autumn, especially the late March to May, and September to mid-October. Qinhuangdao has a warm temperate semi-humid monsoon climate. Due to being adjacent to the ocean, it is influenced greatly by the ocean. The climate is mild. Spring is dry and with little rain, summer is king of hot in the day but cool at night, autumn is cool and with multi sunny and winter is cold and long.
Perennial annual average temperature is around 11℃, the temperature in January is the lowest with the average temperature -4.8℃. July is the hottest month with a average temperature of 25 ℃. The annual rainfall of it is about 630 mm, 70% is concentrated in the summer of June, July and August.

Note: Visitors can wear light clothing in spring and autumn traveling in Qinhuangdao, such as jackets, sweaters, suits, etc.. Summer is hot here, and you can wear short clothes. One must carry a jacket or winter cotton coat to prepare for cold outdoor use in the cold winter.
