Luoyang Longmen Railway Station

Luoyang Longmen Railway Station is one of the top grade stations in Zhengzhou Railway Bureau. It is located in the Luolong district, on the city central axis of Luoyang. The area of the station is about 32,000 square meters. And it began to serve since 2010 Feb.

On the architectural and design process, Luoyang Longmeng Station applies an idea of the airport design. Inside, it plan to offer a bright, environmental, wide, informational station. The service of the station aims to reach a self-help level, ensure passengers can get a fast checking, comfortable waiting, safety boarding environment.

 

♦ Significance

Luoyang Longmen Station is a modern and high standard high speed passenger train station. The completed Luoyang Longmen Station will connecting Beijing, Shanghai, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Xian, Changsha, Shenzhen, and some other big cities within 4 hours transporting. It effects to ease the transporting pressure of Lianyungang-Lanzhou Railway System. It offers a more convenient connecting system among eastern, middle, and western China, especially in economic field in middle China.

 

Luoyang Lonegmen Station is the third largest high speed train station on the Zhengzhou-Xian Railway System, ranking following Xian and Zhengzhou railway stations. The total area is about 30,000 square meters. When in the high transporting period, the daily dispatched passenger number can reach to 4,000. Connecting with Luoyang Station and Luoyang East Station, passengers can change both high speed train and normal train directly.

 

♦ About Xuzhou-Lanzhou High-speed Railway System

Xuzhou-Lanzhou High-speed Railway is an important part of our railway system, forming by Zhengzhou-Xuzhou part, Zhengzhou-Xian part, Xian-Baoji part, and Baoji-Lanzhou part. This railway starts from Xuzhou, via Shangqiu, Kaifeng, Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Xian, Baoji, and finally arrival Lanzhou, a total length of 1,400 km.
