And according to the government, it is estimated that there will be 500,000 to 550,000 international travelers and 2,250,000 to 2,580,000 domestic travelers coming into Beijing for the events. There are two ways of hotel partition during the period of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. One is those hotels which have a contract with BOCOG as designated agents which located close to the Olympic Venues. About 70% of rooms in designated hotels will open to the delegates from International Olympic Committee and sponsors and theirs guests. The price of those rooms in designated hotels will be controlled by BOCOG.
Only 30% of rooms in designated hotels will open to public. The other is those hotels which can adjust their prices of room according to the need of market. Most of these kinds of hotels are a little bit far away from the center or the Olympic Venues. And the price of those hotels in Beijing is increasing to 6- 10 times than normal. Above hotels require guests to book the whole period from August 8th to 24th, 2008 with full payment. Otherwise, we cannot offer the confirmation of any booking.
Besides Beijing, you also can enjoy the matches of equestrian, sailing and football in Qingdao, Hong Kong, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenyang and Qinhuangdao and book hotels in those cities.

Although Beijing has an extensive public transportation network including of subway, city rail, taxi and bus, the transportation still will be a headache during Olympic period. It is said that there will be 200,000 to 240,000 people coming to Olympic Park for all kinds of activity hold everyday of Olympic period while 150,000 people to other venues. On the other hand, the BOCOG also will control the itinerary to different venues even the time of arrival and leaving. The private car used and local guide arrangement will be very hot and expensive in this period.
