CAN YOU RENT A WHEELCHAIR AT THE GREAT WALL? WHAT IS THE COST? HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE AN AVERAGE 65 YEAR OLD TO WALK THE GREAT WALL AND BACK.

In order to provide more conveniences to the disabled, the scenic spot went through reconstructions to build up some barrier-free structures before the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. Badaling Great Wall Scenic Area especially established the disabled visitors’ service reception working group, and is equipped with a certain amount of manual wheelchairs in the Tourists Service Center. How long will it takes to walk Badaling Great Wall depends on you physical strength, generally a person walk a commonly 4 to 5 beacon towers is about to finish Great Wall tour. From Badaling Great Wall after the ticket office the left hand is south route, and the right hand is the north route. The Badaling south route is from the ticket office to and fro via the original route, and it takes about 2 hours. North route do not need go back the same way, tourists can return from Bear Park ticket office which takes about 3 hours. Of course, this is young people's physical strength. If there is the old man and child, time will be longer.
