Generally there are 5 types of rooms in China.

Single Room: A room designed for only one person containing one large bed

Double or King-size Room: A room containing one large double bed

Twin-bed / Standard Room: A room with two single beds

Triple-bed Room: A room containing a double bed and a single bed

Connecting Room: A room made up of two or more separate but adjoining rooms

 

If you want to share a room with 3 people in all, then you can use Triple-bed Room, but it is not easy to find a Triple-bed Room because many of hotels only provide several Triple-bed Room or none. Or you can pay extra money to add a extra bed in the room.
