Mr. Xiaoping,
I recently took a tour of China (July 23-August 6, 2008) which included several cities including Guilin. While I found all of the places I visited to be lovely, Guilin was by far my favorite. Top China Travel provided a fairly good itinerary and adequate tour guides for most of our descinations, however, the guide we had in Guilin was exceptional! Shirley Tang was absolutely wonderful! She truly went above and beyond in making our stay a delightful and memorable experience. Every attraction she recommended was well worth the time and any additional expense; she changed several things to accommadate our preferences, and she made sure in doing so that we did not exclude anything she felt we shouldn't miss-and she was correct!! Because of Shirley, I had an exceptional time in Guilin and would highly recommend her to any of my friends who visit your area. Her professionalism and calm personality are to be commended. I have travelled exyensively and used many guides, and I can say with confidence that Shirley has been my favorite!

Dear Xiaoping,
I am writing because I had the most wonderful time in Guilin. The city was spectacular and it was only magnified by our tour guide, Shirley Tang. I have been on several tours and have endured nearly 30 guides already at the young age of twenty. Out of all of my experiences traveling, Shirley was the most capable, informed, and pleasant of any guide I have had before.
Everything that she recommended was well worth it; the river tour at night, the massage parlor, Shangri La, and the golf cart tour in Yangshuo. She was also very helpful in switching around any plans to fit the preferences of my family (mother and grandmother).
I was completely shocked to learn that she has not even been a guide for a year; she is so competent, helpful, and sweet. I had a magnificent time in Guilin and will always remember this beautiful city and Shirley, a truly fantastic guide. It was the highlight of my trip to China and I sincerely hope to return one day.

Hello Janet.
We are now back in Hong Kong, having finished our visit to China which you were so kind as to arrange for us at very short notice for Cary Lamm in the UK.
We had an unforgettable good time and want to thank you for everything.
As you know, we arrived in Guilin the day before the Olympic Torch arrived, so we had to leave early on that day to take our Li river cruise. I asked your guide Jerry if it would be possible to drop into your office to say hello and thank you, but it wasn't feasible because of time limitations and because you were busy.
We were delighted nevertheless to receive your gift of two dolls in the costume of one of the groups living in the province. We shall treasure them.
