"Top Charms of China" Photography Competition

After a memorable trip to China, how about sharing your impressions with us?

TopChinaTravel is pleased to invite you to join our "Top Charms of China" Photography Competition, to share your joy with others and show your favourite images of China.

Photos are always good story-tellers, stimulating us visually and emotionally.

This photography competition is open to any clients who’ve booked with TopChinaTravel.

How to enter?
1. You don't have to be a pro; you just need a keen eye and to have made an image that captures the spirit of travel.
2. There will be two categories - ‘Scenery’ and ‘Culture’.

To submit your picture(s) on-line: log-in to www.topchinatravel.com/community/photography-competition/ with your group code and the password we emailed to you, or ask your trip advisor, they will be happy to help you to upload.

How to upload?
1. Enter the “Community” page and click into the "Top Charms of China" Photography Competition” column to enter the main page of this competition. Click the button"Upload Your Photos” at the bottom of this page, you will find a dialog box, in which you should input the name and password as below. Then it will bring up the customized form. Enter your basic information as instructed, and then click “Submit”.
2. Upload your photos.

About your entry(s)
1. It must be 100% original and taken during your China trip with us.
2. Pictures that defame or hold any person to ridicule or are considered by the selection panel to be indecent will be rejected.
3. Entries should be the highest possible resolution version of your image, 1024x768px or larger.
4. Please include the following information with each entry: - Photographer’s name; home address (city/country); email address; your TCT group code; competition category; photo title; a brief narrative about the photo, where, when and why it was taken, (any relevant information about festivals, events)

Expiration date
Entries will be accepted from January 1, 2011 till December 30, 2011.

Prize
There will be three Prizes in each category and 20 Complimentary Prize.
A prize of US$500 for the 1st place winner (1 person), US$300 each for 2nd place winners (2 persons) and US$100 each for 3rd place winners (3 persons) in each category. There will also be 10 complimentary prizes of gift voucher to the value of US$50 in each category.

Winning conditions
The winning image will be elected by internet voting. For each image, votes must achieve 1000-ticket and above can only be eligible to compete the first, the second and the third prize.
Each IP will be permitted only one vote a day.

Confidential & Right
TCT will only publish your name, country and picture title/description for voting purposes. All other personal information will be kept securely by TCT. It may be used for internal review and to improve the content of our Web page, but will not be shared with any other organizations for commercial purposes.
There will be While the photographers retains the copyright of all images submitted as competition entries, TopChinaTravel reserves the right to limited use of the winning photos for company brochures, promotion and advertising. Any photo so used will carry a credit to the photographer.

Prize Present
All prize winners will be contacted by email. Upon reply, you’ll receive your prize by Paypal. Person who won the Complimentary Prize will get an email attached the gift voucher in PDF form.
