Guizhou Ethnic Culture Exposition open

The Guizhou Ethnic Culture Exposition was launched in Kaili aiming to show the diversified minority culture and tourism resources to the world.

 

The event was kicked off with an evening gala featuring performances complimented by high-tech light effects. Musicals were staged to explain the origins and customs of Guizhou's various ethic groups. Located in southwest China, Guizhou is home to nearly 50 Chinese ethnic groups.

 

Kaili, the host city for the opening ceremony, is known for its local Miao ethnic embroidery and silver ornaments. The four day exhibition is held alongside a series of trade forums.
