Macau East Asia Games Dome with the Buddha parietal-bone relic of Sakyamuni for public worship after a 5 days showcase in Hong Kong
Vice Chairman of CPPCC National Committee Ho Hau Wah, the Chief Executive of Macao SAR Chui Sai On, President of the Buddhist Association of Macao Quan Hui, Vice President of the Buddhist Association of China Xue Cheng, Director of the State Administration for Religious Affairs Wang Zuo'an as well as other eminent monks and leaders attend the grand ceremony.
The parietal-bone relic is usually too available for public worship for 5 constant days through Apr 30TH to May 4. Thousands of Buddhist supporters can pay homage towards the holy relic. Over 140,000 tickets have already been sold-out now, in line with the organizer. The parietal bone of Sakyamuni were found to be in 2008 when archaeologists found without warning a crypt inside ruins of the Changgan Temple which was constructed in Song Dynasty during the excavation operates at the Nanjing Grand Bao'en Temple.
The visit to Hong Kong and Macao will be the first-time the parietal bone has been shown just for public obeisance beyond the Chinese mainland.
