Traveling to Fujian to see the Charming Southern China

( Post Time:August 10,2012 By Bonnie Luo)

When you speak of with others that you will go to China, they usually think that you are going to these big cities in China like Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong or Guangzhou. After all, people can earn more money there as they are all developed in commerce.

Those cities are filled with the great things of Chinese history. They are China's power center, the seat of China’s government, as well as China's commercial centers. But, if you want to experience the real China, then you have to look at other places.

Fujian
Province, located in the south China coast, is China's most fertile tourist destination. It brings together the culture, art, architecture and history landscapes.

Mt. Wuyishan is probably the only most famous scenic spots in Southern China. It has 36 peaks, and most of them are as high as 2000 feet. For centuries, it has deeply attracted scholar, hermit, Taoist and monks, and now it is mainly to attract tourists and photography enthusiasts to sightseeing.

In Fujian, you can not only enjoy lots of beautiful scenery, but also all aspects of China. The most overseas Chinese are born in Fujian. There are Cantonese (Guangdong people) also living in Fujian. In addition to these common group in Fujian province, the Hui Nationality, whose ancestors converted to Islam many years ago, is also living there. In addition, She ethnic minority group is living there.

Fujian province also has some important city center, such as Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, and each of them has charming characteristics.

Mazu Temple is famous around the world. The number of people who believe Matsu in global is about 100 million; there are thousands of tourists who are faithful to the pilgrimage coming to Fujian to pray here every year.

You can’t miss the Gulangyu Island in Xiamen. There you can find the winding coastal lines, natural and gentle seaside bathing grounds with the fine sands, and oddly shaped reefs.

Also, Hakka Tulou is another lightspot in Fujian. Tulou, the earth building, a unique and mysterious Hakka architecture, is usually an enclosed buildings, mostly square or circular in configuration, with a very thick earth wall which is up to 6 feet thick and wooden skeletons, from three to five stories high, housing up to 80 families. Some of them are more than 700 years old, surviving through centuries of natural elements, including earth quakes, yet still standing solid. That’s really amazing and attractive.

While enjoying your China Tours, choosing Fujian Tours can let you know more about the real life in China. Beijing and Shanghai seem to be the most well-known places in China, but the beach and mild climate in Fujian will make your holiday more comfortable and pleasant.
