Description: and Dacheng Hall. The painted sculptures in the hall are rare works of the Five Dynasties period presenting the late Tang style, which have provided precious information for studying the sculpture development history in China as well as the evolvement of sculptures in the Tang and Song Dynasties. It’s the only Confucian temple built during the Song dynasty and has an 800-year history.
