Description: Located at the foot of Elephant Hill, Black Dragon Pool has another name called Jade Spring. The park on the sire was built in 1737 during the Qing Dynasty. Since the pool is as green as a shining jade, the park is also entitled the Jade Spring Park. It occupies an area of 11,390 square meters and includes many distinctive, ravishing and well-preserved sites like stone-carved lions, white marble bridges, pavilions, temples and steles etc. These antique and exquisite architectural pieces are in the style of Naxi, which will make your every step in the park a surprise. Bedsides, at least 500 kinds of flowers are planted in the garden and the temple now are served as exhibition hall for seasonal horticultural shows and art displays. Dongba Culture Research Institute and Dongba Culture Museum are also in the park.
