Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 01 Arrival Tianjin (No meals)
Arrive in Tianjin. Be met and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
120 kilometers southeast of Beijing, Tianjin is lying in the northeast of North China Plain. It is a municipality in China which is dominated directly by the Central Government. Historical changes in the past 600 years have made Tianjin a unique city with a mixture of ancient and modern in both Chinese and Western styles. You will see a real China among its buildings and peoples. Tianjin is regarded as a bright pearl on the Beijing-Tianjin itinerary.

Day 02 Tianjin (B/L)
Have a whole-day city tour in nearby Ji County including Huangyaguan Great Wall with the Great Wall Museum and the unique Bagua Labyrinth. Proceed to visit Dule Temple before dinner. Stay overnight in Ji County.

Dule TempleThe entire section of Huangyaguan Great Wall is built on an abrupt yellow cliff, so it was so named. It is located 28km north of Ji County, Tianjin. Originally built in Tianbao 7th of Beiqi (557 AD), Huangyanguan was repaired for the first time in Ming Dynasty with bricks and for the second time in 1985. When appointed as the chief commanding officer in the Ji Garrison (one of the eleven garrisons of the Ming Dynasty), Qi Jiguang added watch towers and other defensive works. Watch towers, frontier cities, drain holes, emplacements, barracks and other indispensable military facilities are arranged orderly along the wall. With various forms of water towers presented along the walls, and the largest tower of the Great Wall 'Phoenix Tower' and the most unique 'Baguaguan Labyrinth', Huangyaguan is considered to be a miniature of the Great Wall.

Located in the downtown area of Ji County, Dule Temple is the earliest wooden structure still existing in China. It was first built in Tang Dynasty and has large-sized clay Guan Yin.

Day 03 Zunhua (B/L)
Leave for Zunhua in nearby Hebei Province after breakfast. Upon arrival, visit Eastern Qing Tombs- the finest and largest tomb complex in China. Drive back to Tianjin.
Easrern Qing TombsEastern Qing Tombs or Qingdongling, located 125 km northwest of Beijing, are among the finest and largest tomb complexes in China. Like the Western Qing Tombs are the sacred burial grounds of Qing emperors, empresses and imperial concubines. Situated to the west of Malanyu Village in Zunhua County, Hebei Province, the entire complex covers an area of 2,500 square kilometers.
