You will be transferred to Anshun, the central town for the west of Guizhou Province for the largest waterfall- Huangguoshu Waterfall today. Close to Huangguoshu Waterfall, Tianxingqiao Scenic Resort is your next spot and in the afternoon, you will explore the Batik Museum.
[ Itinerary Description ]
Located about 105km from Guiyang, Anshun is a key connecting between Sichuan Province and Guizhou Province. The history of its trading center could be traced back to the 13th century, linking north and south China with areas as remote as Burma. Anshun is a multi-minorities region which is the home of Mulao Minority, Buyi Minoriy and Miao Minority. The colorful ethnic culture and customs are the most highlights of this region.
Located in the boarder area of Zhenning County and Guanling County, Huangguoshu Waterfall is China¡¯s premier waterfall, with the most impressive having a width of 81 meter and dropping 74 meter. A 134-meter-long curtain cave lies secretly behind the main fall. There are six ¡®windows¡¯, five ¡®sitting rooms¡¯ and three springs inside the cave. It is really wonderful that you look at the rushing waterfall through the ¡®windows¡¯ and touch the waterfall in the shortest distance.
Located six kilometers away from Huangguoshu Waterfall, Tianxingqiao Scenic Resort consists of three adjoining scenic areas: Tianxingpeng area, Tianxingdong area, and the Stone Forest area above water. The most distinguished character of the scenic resort is its abundance in water, rocks, forests and caves, which compose a picturesque view for the visitors.
If you want to take some man-made souvenir for your family or friends, you will not miss the chance of visiting the Batik Museum where you could see the display of Miao people¡¯s unique technique of batik since ancient time.
Day 03 Anshun -- Guiyang (B/L/D)
Drive back from Anshun to Guiyang. On the way, you will visit the Tianlong Village and Qinyang Ancient Town.
[ Itinerary Description ]
Tianlong Village is one of these ancient Tun-Bao settlements built during the reign of Emperor Hongwu by the descendants of the soldiers of the expeditionary troops of the Ming Dynasty, where locals still wear the old-style clothes of that time and keep most of the cultural traditions of the Ming Dynasty. This shows the Han's early migration from Central China to this mountainous area. You can see a similar life style to that of Central China. Moreover, you could enjoy a Chinese traditional local opera called ¡® Dixi¡¯ which is only found in Guizhou as your optional choice.
As an ancient town, covering an area of 741 acres, Qingyan Ancient Town was originally built in 1378. Nowadays, because of its long history and strong cultural atmosphere, Qingyan Ancient Town has become an attractive destination for numerous domestic and foreign tourists. Due to the local geology, Qingyan Ancient Town was built completely of stone. You can see spectacular city walls built right on the cliffs with vast rocks, which divided Qingyan Ancient Town into inner and outer towns.

Sitting on a huge rock in the Nanming River in the southern part of Guiyang, Jiaxiu Pavilion is first built in the 26th year in the reign of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1598).The pavilion got its names since the builder believed that people in Guiyang are the finest and most talented under heaven that is the internal meaning of Jiaxiu in Chinese. In this pavilion, you can enjoy the rich collection of stone engravings, calligraphy works, paintings and woodworks by ancient artists.
