Day 1

Arrival Shanghai
Arrive in Shanghai, the coastal city of eastern China, your local guide will be meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Shanghai is a city unlike any other in China. It is the bustling economic heartbeat of China that enjoys all of the comforts and amenities of a fully modern metropolis. Shanghai today looks to regain its former position at the turn of 20th of being one of the largest financial centers in the world behind New York and London. It is a city that seamlessly blends East and West.
 

Day 2

Shanghai
Today, enjoy your full day SIC tour (Seat-in-Coach tour), which covers the most popular attractions of the city.

Help yourselves to the Boarding Place (Lobby of Hotel Sofitel Shanghai Hyland) - Yuyuan Garden - The Bund - Xintiandi - Lunch – Shanghai People Square - Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall - Jade Buddaha Temple - Shopping - Back to the boarding place (Lobby of Hotel Sofitel Shanghai Hyland)

Boarding Place: 
8:20 a.m. at lobby of Hotel Sofitel Shanghai Hyland, 505 Nanjing East Road, Shanghai, China

The BundHelp yourself to get to the picking up place. And then begin your Shanghai group tour by visiting Yuyuan Garden, which is the only fully restored classical Chinese garden in Shanghai.  After that, have a short visit to the Bund to appreciate the group of building known as "a Gallery of world architecture". These buildings were built respectively during the 20s and 40s of the 20th century with different architectural styles but were well harmonized. 

After a short relaxing visit to Xintiandi - a car-free shopping, eating and entertainment area of Shanghai. It is time to have the lunch. 

In the afternoon, you will continue to go to the People Square - a outdoor facility including the square, the park and the surroundings - for taking some photos. And then, to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall for touch with the old buildings of Shanghai.  The last site is the Jade Buddha Temple which is famous for a 1.9-metre-high white jade Buddha inside. 

When the whole day tour is finished, drive back the boarding place (Lobby of Hotel Sofitel Shanghai Hyland) and service ends.

Day 3

Shanghai    Suzhou    Zhouzhuang    Shanghai
Suzhou
, famous for its delicate gardens while Zhouzhuang, is a well-known water town, differ with busy Shanghai, they keep their own peaceful slow-paced manner of life. So, how about taking a one day SIC tour and enjoying the different beauty of them?

Help yourself to the boarding place in Shanghai - drive to Suzhou for visiting Lion Grove Garden - Suzhou Fok Custom Museum - Pass by Grand Canal in Suzhou - Silk Factory - Lunch - Zhouzhuang Water Town - Boating on waterways - Back to Shanghai and get off at the morning boarding place

Zhouzhuang Water TownTake a taxi to the boarding place, you will then start your one day exploration to Suzhou first, for its Lion Grove Garden - famous for its rockworks resembling lions with different and striking poses, Suzhou Folk Custom Museum - which was once the living house for famous architect I.M.Pei, Grand Canal - the important canal in ancient china, and Silk Factory - a place for you to know the making process of silk.

After lunch, you will continue your driving to Zhouzhuang, which is one of the most famous water towns in China, noted for its profound cultural background, the well preserved ancient residential houses, the elegant watery views and the strong local traditions and customs. The must-see spots in the town include Twin Bridges, Shen House, Zhang House, and boat cruising. After the tour, be transferred back to the boarding hotel

Free at leisure until be transferred to the airport for the return flight.

3. Driver and English-speaking guide service on normal sightseeing activities noted in the itinerary. The sightseeing activities will be served as Seat-in-Coach tour except the one that been noted separately.
4. All entrance fees to scenic spots as shown in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of TopChinaTravel. TCT will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
