9 Days Guilin and Kunming Golf Experience

Day 1

Arrival Guilin    Merryland
On arrival, your local guide will pick you up at Guilin airport and then transfer to Merryland directly for your stay overnight. Maryland Golf Club is the only course in China that accords with American USGA regulation.

Day 3

Merryland    Guilin
Play another round of Golf in Merryland, in the afternoon you will be transferred to Guilin city.

Day 4

Guilin      Yangshuo    Guilin
In the morning you will be driven to the Pier for the Li River Cruise (about 4 hours, lunch served on board). Savour the fairy-tale scenery while cruising down the meandering river to Yangshuo. After disembarkation, have a walk along the famous West Street. After this short exploration, be transferred back to Guilin city.

Day 5

Guilin    Kunming
Free at leisure then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Kunming. On arrival, your local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy your free time for the rest of the day.

Day 6

Kunming
After breakfast, taking 1hour driving you will reach the Spring City Golf & Lake Resort, playing a round of Golf in JN Course or RTJ Course. Stay overnight there.

Kunming
Today, you will take a city tour to the Stone Forest, created by ancient winds and water erosion over millions of years. After the tour, you will be driven back to Kunming.

Be transferred to the airport for your flight to next destination.

Covers an area over 1 million square meters (73 hectares), the Course of Guilin Merryland Golf Club is the largest one in Guangxi Province, which locates in Zhiling Road, Xing'an County, only a 40-minute drive from downtown Guilin. This club has an American-style hilly land golf course up to the international standards, especially leveled according to USGA, designed by Mr. Golden Louise, a famous architect from the United States.

The course can be divided into 3 parts, they are mountain course (A), lake course (B) and hilly course (C). All of them embrace beautiful environment.

Course introduction: This 27-hole golf course extends 10, 554 yards in total, Par: 72.The front nine holes are located in the mountains, and the rear nine holes are by the lake. No.2 hole of the front nine holes is the most difficult one, with a large pond. Golfing in this course may make players fully enjoy themselves and appreciate the unique scenery.

Merryland    Guilin
Play another round of Golf in Merryland, in the afternoon you will be transferred to Guilin city.

Guilin is world-famous for its serene landscape, Karst limestone formations, mist-covered hills and bamboo groves. It is home to more than ten ethnic groups, including Han, Zhuang, Miao, Yao, Hui and Dong. On the way from the airport to your hotel, you will see dozens of pretty hills everywhere in the city of Guilin. It is a city of hills and green trees and boasts one of the most photographed areas of China.
 

Day 4

Guilin      Yangshuo    Guilin
In the morning you will be driven to the Pier for the Li River Cruise (about 4 hours, lunch served on board). Savour the fairy-tale scenery while cruising down the meandering river to Yangshuo. After disembarkation, have a walk along the famous West Street. After this short exploration, be transferred back to Guilin city.

In the morning, be driven to Pier for your Li River Cruise. A double-decker river boat is waiting for you. The landscape from Guilin to Yangshuo is truly a masterpiece of nature. The crystal waters, straight-out-of-a-painting mountains, peaceful farm fields, hard-working-but- ever-smiling fishermen and wandering water buffaloes inspire poetic musings of Guilin’s charming life. Under the blue sky, your river boat transports you in an unending daydream.

Guilin    Kunming
Free at leisure then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Kunming. On arrival, your local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy your free time for the rest of the day.

Kunming is the capital city of Yunnan in southwest China. Located in the middle of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau just north of the Tropic of Cancer, at an altitude of 1,900 meters above the sea level, Kunming enjoys a year-round temperate climate and is often called the 'Spring City'.

After breakfast, taking 1hour driving you will reach the Spring City Golf & Lake Resort, playing a round of Golf in JN Course or RTJ Course. Stay overnight there.

Surrounded by green mountains and clear lakes, Spring City Golf & Lake Resort is one of the most beautiful golf holiday resorts in the world, and also got a name of the Golf Game Paradise in Asia. In this resort, equips two courses. The mountain course was designed by Mr. Jack Nicklaus (JN course in short), while Mt. Robert Trent Jones Jr. taking charge of the lake course designing program (RTJ course in short). In 1999, the US Golf Digest evaluated it as the No.1 Golf Resort in China mainland and Hong Kong.

Course introduction: The two golf courses have 36 holes in totel, 18 holes each. The JN course with a length at 7, 453 yards, Par 72. The RTJ course stretches to 7, 204 yards, Par 72. Golfing in this course is a great pleasure.

Kunming
Today, you will take a city tour to the Stone Forest, created by ancient winds and water erosion over millions of years. After the tour, you will be driven back to Kunming.

Stone Forest is a notable set of Karst formations in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, approximately 85km from Kunming. The tall rocks seem to emanate from the ground in the manner of stalagmites, with many looking like trees made of stone, creating the illusion of a forest of stone. It has been known since the Ming Dynasty as the first wonder of the World. Approximately 270 million years ago this region was a vast ocean. Over time, the waters retreated and the limestone landscape was left. Due to a process of weathering and erosion, nature has created an art gallery of stone sculpture- present-day Stone Forest. The magnificent, strange and steep landscape creates labyrinthine vistas around each corner. Each formation has a story about animals or people associated with it.

Be transferred to the airport for your flight to next destination.
