Summary: This 12 day China tour of Shanghai Guilin Chengdu Xian Beijing, combines the nostalgic residence of the Xintiandi, the classic Yuyuan Garden with the timeless landscapes of the Li River in Guilin. We also spend some time in Sichuan Province, home to some of the country's spiciest cuisine, and the Giant Panda. In Sichuan's charming capital, Chengdu, we will mix with the locals in the People Park and visit the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Steep in historic and cultural Xian before heading to Beijing where your journey ends.

A full day sightseeing starts with Jade Buddha Temple (1 hour) - famous for the seated Buddha, encrusted with jewels, which is said to weigh 1,000 kg. And then, go to Yuyuan Garden (1 hour) - a Chinese classic garden in city downtown. Then visit the nearby Chenghuangmiao (Old Street) (1 hour). After lunch time, you will have an exterior tour of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (30 min) - the most charming landmark of Shanghai. And then, go for shopping in Nanjing Road (1 hours generally) - the earliest commercial street in Shanghai, and have a leisure walk along the Bund (30 min) - famous as a group of building known as "a Gallery of world architecture". After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Today is a relaxing day by firstly having a visit to the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall (1 hour) - one of the world largest showcases of urban development. And them, a leisure walk on Xintiandi (1 hour) - a car-free shopping, eating and entertainment area of Shanghai. When finish your lunch, be finished by connecting the 2.5 hours flight to Guilin. Your Guilin tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to transfer to the hotel.

In the morning you will be driven to the Zhujiang Pier for the Li River Cruise (about 4 hours, lunch served on board). Savour the fairy-tale scenery while cruising down the meandering river to Yangshuo. After disembarkation and check-in hotel with help of your tour guide, you can have a walk along the famous West Street and enjoy the free leisure time there. After that, be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin for resting well.

In the morning, after breakfast and then drive back to Guilin downtown.. You will arrive in Guilin city during the lunch time. Finish lunch and continue to visit Reed Flute Cave (1 hour) - offering a magic fairyland of stalactites, stalagmites, stone columns scenery. And then, the next stop will be the Elephant Trunk Hill (1 hour) - the landmark of Guilin. After that, say good bye to Guilin and have a 2.5 hours flight to Chengdu. Your Chengdu tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to transfer to the hotel.

Today, enjoy your interesting tour to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (2 - 3 hours) - a huge institution replicates the natural habitat of the giant panda . And then, back to town for your continue short trip to Thatched Cottage of Du Fu (1 hour) - the former residence of the famous Tang Dynasty poet, You could not miss a chance to Jinli Old Street (1 hour) - elegant style of the architectures tells you what Sichuan looks like during the Qing Dynasty. After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Today, after breakfast you will have a 1.5 flight to Xian, a city experiencing the full history of China in its entirety. Your Xian tour guide will wait for you at the airport. Before drive to the hotel, you will firstly have a visit to the Hanyang Mausoleum (1 hour) - the multi-burial cemetery of Emperor Jing of Han and his queen. And then, drive to the downtown and visit the Shaanxi History Museum (2 hours) - one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China. After that, drive to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Ample time will be provided for visits to Terracotta Warriors (2.5 - 3 hours) - one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. After lunch near the Terracotta Warriors area, drive back to the downtown for a visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda (1 hour) - the site of the old Han and Tang capital Chang'an. After that, continue to visit the Xian City Wall (1 hour) - represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls. After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Today after breakfast, drive you to the Xi'an airport for a 2 hours flight to Beijing, the capital city of China. Your Beijing tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to chek in the hotel. After that, drive to Drum Tower area for taking a relaxing Hutong Tour by rickshaw (Short route, 40 min) - the way to know the Beijing local lifestyle. After that, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Depart from your hotel in the morning to visit Tiananmen Square (40min) - the World's largest urban square, and the Forbidden City (2.5 - 3 hours) - the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. A single room (cabin) is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar one.
