Tianshan Picea Schrenkiana

Picea Schrenkiana (Chinese name: 天山云杉林) is a peculiar spruce species native to the Tianshan immense forest. In the depths of the Tianshan Mountains, it is vigorous and forceful, four seasons are evergreen, climbing slope to grow with endless miles. Picea schrenkiana, evergreen trees, leave is like a needle, and slightly bent; the fruit is like a long elliptic ball in brown. Tianshan Picea Schrenkiana is said to be in more than 4000 years ago, transformed by the migration of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau, evolved into unique and the most spectacular of trees in northwest China.
 

Geography

Tianshan Picea Schrenkiana Forest in our country is distributed in the south and north slope of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang, west Kunlun Mountains, west Junggar Mountainous region. North slope of Tianshan Mountain Pincea Schrekiana Forest distribution between 1500 meters to 2800 meters’ subalpine and low mountain, in addition to the Picea Schrenkiana and there are Tianshan spruce. More than 90% of Tianshan Mountains Forest area is growing Picea schrenkiana in 1400 to 2700 meters above sea level in middle mountain of schattenseite. Picea schrenkiana is winding and continuing for miles. It is mixed with tall broad-leaved, lush and colorful, which make up the beautiful scenery. The Nalati Mountain near Ili River is the most flourishing region of Picea Schrenkiana. The picea schrenkiana trees here are growing up to 50 to 60 meters; the growth rings are more than 300 to 400 years. Tree-crown is long and narrow, the trunk is hairchested and straight, like a coiled giant umbrella with layer cascade folds. West Tianshan Mountain Natural Protection Reserve is one of the kingdom of Picea schrenkiana. Here mountains, ice and snow hill towering trees and the mountains are charming, and there is a sweeping vast spruce with an area of 280 square kilometers. Green trees here waving like a sea, lush fruit forest is colorful, streams are everywhere, the grassland and forest, deep gorge and empty valley strewn at random. In the north slope of Tianshan Mountain, the picea schirenkiana forest distribute in low mountain elevation, constitutes the intermittent rapid thousands of miles of mountain forest perpendicular band. In the forest and mountain meadows, grasslands, thickets staggered distribution. In the spruce forest of Tianshan Mountain, in addition to the Picea schrenkiana, there is tianshan spruce.Tianshan spruce is a variation of Picea schrenkiana.The difference is small, ridge spruce was born shoots as the gray, tianshan spruce twigs of light yellow or yellow ginger.

Function
