Day-by-day Itinerary
Day 01 Arrive Beijing (No meals)
Arrive in Beijing , your gateway city of China tour. Be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 02 Beijing(B/L)
Depart from hotel in the morning to visit Tian'anmen Square, the largest urban square and Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Then visit Temple of Heaven in the afternoon. Peking Opera is available for your optional night entertainment.
Day 03 Beijing (B/L)
In the morning drive 75km to visit the Great Wall(Badaling Section) first and Ming Tombs (Changling Tomb) , the once lavish burial chambers of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Peking Roasted Duck is available for your optional dinner.
Day 04 Beijing- - Xi'an (B/L)
In the morning, take a half-day Hutong Tour by rickshaw to visit the ancient lanes and alleyways of Beijing. Be transferred to the airport for the flight to Xi'an in the afternoon.
Day 05 Xi'an (B/L)
Ample time will be provided for the visits of those famous spots, including the Qin Terracotta Army Museum , one of the world's most important archaeological finds with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation and Banpo Neolithic Village Museum . Either Jiaozi Banquet or Tang Dynasty Show with Dinner is available for your optional dinner.
Day 06 Xi'an - - Chongqing , Embark (B/L)
In the morning, you will visit the Shaanxi History Museum and Ancient City Wall . Then be transferred to airport for your flight to Chongqing in the afternoon. Drive to the pier to embark for the wonderful Yangtze River Cruise .
Day 07 Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Depart from Chongqing in the morning. The first shore excursion of cruise occurs either at Fengdu, Shibaozhai or Wanzhou , which depends on local river conditions.
Day 08 Yangtze River Cruise (B/L/D)
Today pass Three Gorges namely Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge, during which take an excursion through Daning River Lesser Three Gorges. In the evening, sail through the ship locks .
Day 09 Disembark, Yichang- - Guangzhou (B/L)
Get off the cruise to visit Three Gorges Dam in the morning. Disembark at Yichang for the flight to Guangzhou . Upon arrival, be transferred to the hotel to catch up on some rest.
Day 10 Guangzhou- - Hanoi (B/L)
Have a half-day city tour of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall and Temple of Family Chen . Take a flight to Hanoi in the afternoon. Upon arrival in Hanoi , our guide will be at the airport to welcome guests and transfer to hotel. The rest of time is at your leisure to adjust yourself to a new country.
Day 11 Hanoi Cruise (B/L) Set our the Jewel of the Delta on the banks of the Red Rivers before sunset. Cruise along the Red River as the crew serves traditional Vietnamese cuisine. A traditional musical ensemble performs as the sun sets over this timeless landscape.
Day 12 Hanoi City Tour (B/L) In the morning, visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ho Chi Minh Maosoleum, Ho Chi Minh stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Temple of Literature . After a delightful lunch, the tour continues with the Museum of Ethnoloyg , Ngoc Son Temple , Hoan Kiem Lake and an hour cycle ride through the famous Old Quarter.
Day 13 Hanoi ¨C Halong Bay (B/L/D) Depart Hanoi for Halong Bay , arriving at midday. Board the traditional junk for a delicious seafood lunch. After lunch, explore some of the limestone caves dotted around the bay. Anchor at a secluded and safe spot for swimming and sun bathing before dinner.
Day 14 Halong Bay ¨C Hanoi (B/L) Spend the morning cruising the bay with a choice of swimming, kayaking or simply relaxing on deck. At midday return to the main harbor before to the awaiting vehicle for the journey back to Hanoi . Reach Hanoi .
Day 15 Departure Hanoi (B) At your leisure until airport transfer.
